unlike most labels, nosleepmusic is not concerned with trying to stick to just one style. Styles can be chicago house & techno, german minimal, sub fragment micro minimal, idm, electronica, techno, house, tribal, downtempo, hip hop....any style as long as it makes people want to dance. Music that we are not interested in is the bleep blop go nowhere minimal, techno that is geared more towards record collectors who memorize label product numbers, trance that sounds like that last trance cut you heard, house that sounds like it was made in the same studio as all the other house tracks you hear....you know what I'm talking about, loop shit techno that is nothing but 5 loops going at once with a kick on the bottom that induces a migraine after 3 minutes of listening.
if you consider to send us a demo of your work please make sure it moves people. Makes people want to bob they headz, move like forrest gump swinging they hips! demos that are way off from our label sound are trashed without further notice.
we accept cd-audio and cdr with mp3 files. you can submit mp3s via email (20MB limit) here or you can also send zipped mp3s by using either sendspace.com or yousendit.com. we also like demos we can direct download from ftp. encode mp3s at minimum 192 kbit/s. LAME encoder using audiograbber (free) is recommended.
